Fresh Strawberry Bread

This is a great way to use up extra strawberries.

2 1/2 cups flour
1 cups sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 cup whole milk
1 egg
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup fresh sliced strawberries

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; fold in fresh strawberries.

Pour into greased loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until top is golden brown and completely set.  Toothpick inserted into center will come out clean.

Cool slightly then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

Slice and enjoy!
